Monsoon supercharged: What to expect as the Bay of Bengal low-pressure system intensifies

A strong advance of the Southwest Monsoon is ongoing in different parts of India. In particular, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather system is predicted to fully become active over Northwest India soon and deliver torrential rains, thunderstorms, and high-speed winds to different regions of the country.
